This traditional quilt features an on-point set, and traditional patchwork piecing.
No applique and no set in seams.
Color placement creates the sparkling effect with some low volume lights contrasting with medium and dark tones.
Also makes a great scrap quilt for Vintage reproduction quilting.
1 Lady Tulip layer cake (42 squares)
1/3 yard light fabric (A-190-N)
– or –
45 – 10″ x 10″ squares
Background: 3 yards fabric (A-183-N) for the light background
– or – 3 yards fabric (A-194-O) for the orange background
Binding: 2/3 yard fabric (A-185-E)
Backing: 5 yards fabric
FINISHED SIZE: 65 1/2″ x 81 1/2″
